When you create an account we store your email address, display name, phone number. We also store any other optional information you add to your profile. When you host or join a session we store quiz content, responses, and basic session data (such as player names chosen by participants).
Your data is used solely to operate QuizRoom — authenticating you, saving your quizzes, and running live sessions. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
All data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the European Union. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We use essential cookies and local storage only for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at freeoghelp@gmail.com.
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Anonymised session data may be retained for analytics.
QuizRoom is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time at our discretion and without notice.
